Amazing groups of women in Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Virginia and North Carolina make hundreds of stockings, tote bags, winter hats and scarves throughout the year in anticipation of gathering, packing and shipping items to Romania each fall.
We ship colorful handmade Christmas Stockings of Joy, handmade winter hats and scarves and gifts not available in Romania, like four-color ink pens and "squeeze balls" (for therapy). Then in December our partners in Romania pack the stockings with those items plus many more gifts purchased there with your financial donations. Our older friends in Romania feel loved and valued as they received the gifts YOU made possible!
Locally in North Carolina we order practical, fun and delicious items to put in handmade Christmas tote bags of Joy that are personally delivered to 400 of our older neighbors in Cabarrus and Rowan counties of North Carolina!
